Summer Associates:
-1 at K&S
-1 at Mckenna
-1 at Jones Day
-1 at Bondurant & Elmore (same as the K&S person)
-1 at Alston & Bird

And 0 everywhere else that interviewed. Obviously the people on ELJ aren't everything and moot court people made stuff too, but it's a bad sign because most off the people on ELJ are near the top of the class.

-1 at Epstein
-1 at Hunton & Williams

1) Most of ELJ chose to go to NYC though-- and were at great firms there. ATL is really hard if you don't have connections, NYC doesn't really care.
2) That list doesn't reflect the offers to the many different firms that those people got. I know one person who went to a firm in DC who got offers at almost all of those ATL firms you listed above. I also know one person who got offers from: Cravath, Skadden, K&E, K&S, A&S, Sutherland, Jones Day, McKenna, A&O, and more.
CR. For illustration, K&S gave 6 Emory offers last year.

Has anyone gotten offers yet? I think it would be helpful to know for those of us who have done callbacks but not heard anything yet.

During my callback at K&S I asked when I could expect to hear back: they're waiting until all CB are done to make decisions. This could be specific to practice group.

hmm yeah idk if it varies by practice group at K&S but I was told that they make offers on a rolling basis & some offers/rejections happen pretty quickly and others are held until the end of callbacks but that most aren't held so to do a callback as quickly as possible... I haven't heard anything though after my callback

On a slightly unrelated note, I'm always curious who the other Emory 2Ls in this thread are. I've only met 1 or 2 people in person who I know post on TLS.

Also, I already have less motivation to do schoolwork than I had at even my lowest point of 1L year. And its week 1. This can't turn out well.

Still complete silence from A+B, Smith Gambrell, Rogers & Hardin, Baker Donelson, and Parker Hudson. Any news from these firms?

Dings from Parker Hudson and Rogers & Hardin went out this week via snail mail.

I actually emailed A+B on Tuesday because the website says they actually want you to contact them if you want to know where they are in the process...no response whatsoever.

Ditto. So if they're weeding us out, somebody ought to be getting good news...that's how this works, right?
