I missed the OCI meeting tonight, but I heard something about firm hospitality suites. Anyone know the deal with that?

Go to visit unless (a) not interested said firm, or (b) have stats that make you of serious interest to firm already. Just my opinion on these things. Otherwise, if you've got killer personality and are marginal, showing up and chatting with the interviewers during suite time maaaaybe could give slight boost.
What I meant was, where are they, who's going, etc. It hasn't been mentioned before.

it seems like every interview is "collegial and friendly." how the hell are they supposed to differentiate us? ugh.

Haha I was just wondering the same thing. I had my first one today and I think it went well, but I don't really know how I would stand out in a good way at this point...

Grades and ties (if 2ndary market), then WE, IP, URM, journal. That "click" with the interviewers is pretty important as well.

at least 1 K&S DC cb is out...not me, but a friend got one. calls went out around 4:30 today.

See above. K&S DC has given out at least one cb, no idea about K&S or A&B ATL. Every day that goes by without hearing something now makes me lose more and more hope (probably irrationally, but whatever). Completed about half of my 14 OCIs as of this afternoon. Ugh.

I think certain people for Baker Botts and Locke Lord were pretty much "make sure you're not crazy" interviews, and were immediately given callbacks. Not sure whether this means anything for those who interviewed and didn't get an invitation to the dinners.

For the New York program, some of the callbacks went out that night and some took up to a week.
