Transcript with GPA or Without for OCI
I am bottom 1/3 at Cornell. Our OCS has said that for the transcripts we bring to OCI, if you are below a 3.35, don't let the GPA show on your transcript. However, I had a 0.14 improvement from second semester to first. If I left off the calculated GPA, the actual increase won't really show because at first glance, the second semester grades don't actually look that much better than the first (I had one fewer B-, but also one fewer A-). In light of this, should I show my GPA on my transcript or not?

Leave it off. An improvement of .14 is barely noise at the range you're talking about.Anonymous User wrote:I am bottom 1/3 at Cornell. Similar question, but stronger increases. 3.0 first semester, but cumulative is now >3.4, so that is a BIG jump. Post cumulative GPA on resume or no?

Your cumulative is high enough that it's above the posted median, so I believe the rule is YES.Anonymous User wrote:Similar question, but stronger increases. 3.0 first semester, but cumulative is now >3.4, so that is a BIG jump. Post cumulative GPA on resume or no?
