T14 3L here. Sent an e-mail to a mid-sized lit boutique on Monday morning and received an out-of-office message from the recruiting coordinator. From the message, it looks like the person's first day of vacation was Monday and they will not be back until the middle of next week.
I'm assuming they'll probably get a lot of e-mails while they're away, and I'm a bit worried about my application getting lost in the shuffle. I want to ensure that my materials are seen, but I don't want to seem too pushy by flooding the person's inbox with messages.
Should I re-send my materials when I know they are back in the office? Send a quick message asking if they received my original e-mail? Do nothing and hope for the best?

Re: Mass-Mailing: Out-of-Office Messages
My plan is to wait until a week after I know they are back and send a note asking if my original email was received. I'll attach the same materials to this note as well.

I always put a note on my email requesting a read-receipt. Problem solved.

Shouldn't have emailed. Should have sent by actual mail.
