Be honest. Haven't you had just a bit of frustration over this? My career and professional development office sent me a ton of diversity fair notifications, and basically nothing else.

I'm ready for the face paint.

Some people I know who are white went. They're women and said that's how they were diverse. Still got cbs.

while i won't get any cb's, i thought one thing you may have missed out on is really good practice for OCI. you definitely get a taste of what to expect.

Perhaps this is true. . .but maybe not. A friend said she was going to one because being a female automatically makes her diverse. In its own way, I suppose that makes sense.

This is so unnecessary. Just go to the fair even as a straight white male. I've done it and the interviewer never asked me to my face how I'm diverse.

LGBTs. Religious minorities sometimes, too. I know a lot of Jewish guys who went (and interviewing to NY, where being Jewish is not diversity).

Interviewers don't care, though.
