Journal Resume Question
Just transferred from T30 -> T10. I have already put a line on my resume under new school about how I participated in the journal write-on and was awaiting results. I also just found out that I wrote on to my previous school's flagship journal. Should I put that on my resume also, or is it overkill to have two journal-related entries on the res?

Re: Journal Resume Question
Nobody cares if you participated in a journal write-on and are awaiting results. They care about results only. No gold star for effort, unfortunately.

Re: Journal Resume Question
The only reason I put this is to show that I didn't just blow off the writing competition or get rejected, since I will be compared to non-transfer students who already have journal on their resume.sayan wrote:Nobody cares if you participated in a journal write-on and are awaiting results. My question was mainly about whether I should put the info pertaining to my previous school or not.

Re: Journal Resume Question
I would just list "Selected as AE for Law Review" under honors for your old school. Then leave the new school honors blank until you hear back from the new school.
