If you built it along the property line,He probably would have had to allow you permission to build it depending on your city ordinances, as it could affect the value of his property.Just because you paid for a fence doesn't mean that your neighbor cannot benefit from it when one side is facing his place.Now if you mean can he do anything to it? Probably not, especially as it might have to be a bit inside your property line.
