Mass Mailing without being in the area

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Jul 22, 2012 7:05 pm

If I am mass mailing firms on the west coast, but will be on the East Coast until I (hopefully) get some callbacks from OCI, I can't include the part in my cover letter that says when I will be in the area.

Is it ok to write that I will be there late august/early September sometime, and just leave it at that? Do I just not mention anything, and they'd probably call me if they were interested, at which point I may have a better idea? I don't want to miss out on mass mailing but don't have money to go out there unless it's for a callback.

Anyone else in this predicament or know what to do?

I am in the same boat. Was going to say something like "I am available at your convenience."
