CALI High A -- Put on Resume
I CALI'd my legal writing class second semester. Is that something that goes on a resume or is it something employers don't even care about?

Definitely put it on your resume. I've been told that employers care more about that grade than any other.

"CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Writing", i.e., the formal award name; or
"CALI High A in Legal Writing, Second Semester"

Re: CALI High A -- Put on Resume
I would put "CALI Award (highest grade in class) for Legal Writing II" or something to that effect. I'm not sure all employers know would know what "CALI Excellence..." or "CALI High A..." means.

i was wondering about this, too. there are only 15ish or so people in my writing section, is it still really worth it? I got the highest grade in my section both semesters.Anonymous User wrote:I CALI'd my legal writing class second semester. Yeah, as a general rule CALI's, AmJurs, Book Prizes, Dean's Scholars, and the like should all go on the resume.

Definitely put it on the resume.
I'm also happy that one of these threads got through this many posts without someone from a non CALI school saying 'what the hell is a CALI award' and pretending that they can't figure it out from context

Yes. Besides, no one ever really asks "how many people were in that class?"i was wondering about this, too. there are only 15ish or so people in my writing section, is it still really worth it? I got the highest grade in my section both semesters.
