Any word on Herbert Smith? I know a few people have gotten callbacks, but I still haven't been dinged yet. Hope?

Same. Halfway done with the callbacks I've gotten (still waiting to hear from nine or ten firms post-screener, fwiw), and no offers yet. It's a little nerve-racking.Anonymous User wrote:i feel like offers are super slow or i'm just really bad at cb's
On a brighter note: I got a CB today, two weeks after my screener, so don't give up hope! It's a small place and a non-major market. I can't really give more info without potentially outing myself, but I wanted to share that good things are still happening.

A&P DC ding, Wilkie DC snail mail ding after callback. DC I think may be done with the CB invites, though who's to say on offers.

Re: NYU EIW MADNESS 2012
Received an offer in the last 24 hours. Took a little over a week and the caller even said he was considering waiting until next week because of the holiday. This part takes time, believe in yourself and keep killing it in your CBs. You made it to NYU, you'll make it to a firm!

I've heard talk of offers the next day, if not on the spot. No idea if or how often they make them later than that.Anonymous User wrote:anyone know how fast (or slow) cravath is with offers after cbs?

Same thing happened to me about Mayer Brown. I think I would take that as a general ding for any MB office.

I have for DC. Not sure how applicable it'll be to another region, since the DC office is tiny, but it was a mix of partners and associates, two hours total.Anonymous User wrote:curious as to the chadbourne cb...anyone done it?

Re: NYU EIW MADNESS 2012
during drop/add, if i added classes that'd (probably) be better prep for a biglaw SA gig, should i email the recruiter to inform the change in my transcript? it's been almost two weeks post-cb and wonder if this would perhaps help their decision (or hasten a ding...). any thoughts about informing recruiter as to change in courseload? anyone do this?

what's the longest amount of time post-cb you are waiting? i hate the wait.Anonymous User wrote:Same. i've heard from the vast majority of screeners, so if you're antsy about a partic firm's no contact post-cb, i can let you know if i have been dinged by them.

Got a CB invite from Linklaters. Did they move slowly? Or I'm off the wait list?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
