Damn. They were really a top choice.
Last year I wasn't invited to the dinner but later received a callback and an offer. So you're not necessarily rejected.
Am earlier poster who noted varying ramifications of Gibson Dunn dinner invites. I've also read that dinner invite is not necessary, so comports with what quoted poster writes. But am hoping that dinner invite is at least sufficient if not necessary to invoke CB.

Davis Polk Menlo ding. Have heard from 2/6 Monday firms, 3/8 Tuesday firms, 0/6 Wednesday firms. 3 CBs, 2 dings. CBs all in NYC. CBs are all V-50. Stats: Top 1/3, Secondary Journal, WE.
