I'm sure this has been covered here before, but I didn't find anything with a quick search.
I have a few firms I'm looking to bid on that are participating in my school's OCI and in the school's NYC regional interview program. The bid lists for OCI and the NYC program are separate.
If I send a cover letter to the DC office that focuses on my interest in litigation, but then send the same firm's NYC office a cover letter that plays up my interest in corporate, is there any chance that the two offices could share the cover letters?

Re: Do firm's different offices share cover letters?
So I guess it would be advisable to not play up any specific practice area for these firms in my cover letters?
