I think it's a reach, but doable. If you are a great interviewee, it will make a difference. People under-estimate how important interviewing is at OCI.

It's a reach but definitely possible. I know a couple of 3Ls around or slightly over median with V5 jobs lined up.

If they interview at your school, yes. I'm not aware of many firms that yield protect at the screening interview stage (although maybe they do at the CB stage).

If they're at your OCI, it's worth a bid, and if they're not it's worth a mail. I don't see it happening unless by top 10% you mean top 1%, but it can't hurt.
