Minority Advantage?

Post by Anonymous User » Wed Jun 27, 2012 11:12 am

Hey, I was just wondering if there is any type of minority boost/advantages when it comes to securing employment? I have heard different things. While some people have said their isn't, others have said there are slight advantages (i.e lower cutoffs).

It is my impression that hiring in general is more holistic than admissions. Grades matter as much for minorities as everyone else, but I suspect it's a factor the way that great WE or connections are. There is no LSN of firms though so getting a better grasp on the issue is hard.
