i'd like to know as well, given that I went on a fucking two-day spa vacation with every waller employee last month and everyone was in high spirits and fun to be around. lol.UVA Cavalier wrote:If you really don't know, then PM me brorad lulz wrote:Not Waller specifically. Re: I want Nashville
Is the low morale at Waller rumor possibly related to the Miller/Butler Snow exodus and the general fact that if any national firm wanted to get in on the healthcare market in Nash that Waller would be the best suited for buying up (as opposed to Baker or Bass)?
Also, hopefully the fact that nothing has yet been heard about the Schola2Juris apps is not related to the potential low morale/something about to happen behind the scenes. I find it concerning that nothing has happened when its been 8.5 business days since apps were final, 3.5 business days since in house interviews were supposed to start, and the fact that Schola2Juris is their primary recruitment vehicle and brainchild.

In an ironic note, I heard from a buddy that the person who thought up schola2juris has since left the firm.

chances are you can't/won't even be getting a contract/temp job in Nashville for the foreseeable future. Not impossible but HIGHLY unlikely. They just aren't hiring anyone with less than 3-5 years of experience outside of their OCI/SA which, as stated many times itt, is a long shot to begin with.

With ATL spotlighting the program, surely there are at least a couple others on this board who applied. Anyone?Anonymous User wrote:Who else applied to Schola2Juris? Have you heard anything back yet?

I was an SA at M&M last year when this all went down. it was UGLY. Apparently it didn't have a lot to do with business but rather that the Nashville office voted for another person to be managing partner and chattanooga pretty much vetoed it. There were also allegations of racism b/c the Nashville guy was African American. It was nasty. Glad I'm not going back there to work.rad lulz wrote:Large portion of MM Nash left to join Butler Snow.Anonymous User wrote:Forgive my ignorance...but what happened at MM?rad lulz wrote:Why would the MM/Butler Snow shakeup decrease morale at Waller?UVA Cavalier wrote:I have a cousin in the Nashville legal scene and he says that morale at Waller has PLUMMETED recently. I wouldn't be too worried b/c that problem was firm specific - not anything to do with Nashville legal economy.
