What top firms have most "BROish" M&A groups?
CLS/NYU. 3.4x with two years F500 WE. 6'3 athletic male looking for V20 firms in NYC with top M&A shops. But also want a a "work hard, play hard" culture where associates are down for all nighters grinding out closing checklists but also down for broing out after work for drinks in the Meatpacking District/LES etc. Talked to some 3Ls who said Skadden M&A has this rep. But don't know how true this is. Any other firms fit the bill? Unfortunately, no ties to the Bay Area nor interest in litigation- so 425 Market Street is out. Suggestions?

Latham has had this rep for a while. Skadden M&A for sure has this rep. Good luck.Anonymous User wrote:CLS/NYU. 3.4x with two years F500 WE. 6'3 athletic male looking for V20 firms in NYC with top M&A shops. Bear Stearns used to, and so did Lehman. Now it's probably Morgan Stanley from what I hear.

Not normally. It's considered "quirky" in most offices, but it's always possible NYC could be different.JusticeJackson wrote:Is MOFO a bro firm?
Skadden, Latham, and Weil are your best bets based on reputation.Anonymous User wrote:CLS/NYU. 3.4x with two years F500 WE. 6'3 athletic male looking for V20 firms in NYC with top M&A shops. I have the most experience observing Weil's class, but their class last summer was almost an absurd amount of broish dudes over 6'2" (including former college/professional athletes) and girls under 5'4". And they partied harder than any other summer class I saw. It was actually pretty impressive how often most of my Weil friends were getting after it.

regarding mofo, for those of you who are uninformed, apparently MoFo SF litigators unequivocally CRUSH the SF bar scene, have eggplant cocks, soak panties, style on dem orrick bros, generally run san francisco, etc. a simple google search reveals:
