Conflict of interest between firm and judicial internship.

Post by BricksquadMonopoly » Thu Jun 14, 2012 4:12 pm

Hey guys,

Question. I am finishing up my first week as a judicial intern. I don't work specifically for one judge, but for a group of judges doing some foreclosure stuff. This same week I was offered an internship with a firm. I want to do both, but a girl I work with said there may be a conflict of interest there. Can I work both jobs without a conflict of interest?

All judges involved need to approve it before you go.

I worked as a federal court intern and at a small firm simultaneously, but did only state law work at the firm.
