I know the consensus seems to that Magistrates in busy districts seem to be favored higher than in flyover districts, but how much is the boost if you're working in SDNY or EDNY for a magistrate? Is it kind of equivalent in prestige to clerking for an average Art III in an average district? Or is it kind of like one of those spots that are only good locally?
ps - anon. bc I am interviewing for one of those districts now.
how prestigious is it to clerk for a fed. magistrate? Forum
