Ever been drug tested?
A few friends and I were debating the significance of drug tests in the corporate world. Most people have smoked a little weed in their time. Do legal companies test for this? What is the significance of a failed test? What about other companies? Are people really getting fired anywhere for testing positive for marijuana?

I've never heard of a law firm drug testing. Government is a whole other issue.

I think it depends on the state. IF there is no sense of legality in the state, I bet testing would be more likely to occur. As for CA - I've never seen or heard of anyone needing a test for any job (in the state). I think a friend got tested but they are working in D.C. in BigGov.
