K-JD - Take high school / college jobs off resume?
One of the jobs is cool but does not require explanation. So I guess I could toss it under "interests/other info." I'm curious what other K-JD's did.

Work experience gets you a job. Why would you remove all indications that you have work experience? That would be dumb.
For reference: I am a 1L K-JD with an SA who worked through college.

Keep anything relevant, just don't go over a page. I still have one of my college summer jobs on my resume for a multitude of reasons.
Rising 3L K-JD summering at V20.

No reason to take cool college summer jobs off resume. I've got two years of WE plus 2L SA and still have my college summer job on my resume.

Re: K-JD - Take high school / college jobs off resume?
Wow I should back up.
On my resume I have 3 internships including this summer.
IN ADDITION
I worked part-time during the school year to help pay for college. I also worked in high school doing something interesting.
I'm wondering whether these two experiences are appropriately placed under "experiences." I agree a college job is recent experience for a K-JD, but it is uninteresting. And the high school is interesting but it was high school.
Thank you K-JDs for your help.

I would be worried if I had room for my high school jobs on my resume.

Kindergarden through Juris Doctorate with no breaks. Basically implying one has never held a real job, and instead went to school for 20 years straight.Anonymous User wrote:wtf is a K-JD
I would put it all on your resume, excluding the HS WE. What you did as a teenager before your 7 years of college seems irrelevent. However, I woulnt mind hearing what the job was...since you are already posting anonymously....Anonymous User wrote:Wow I should back up.

Right, classical violin gives him a plausible excuse for carrying around aSchopenhauerFTW wrote:Poster was obviously an assassin.top30man wrote:This edit makes it deliciously mysterious.Anonymous User wrote:teaching classical violin

Re: K-JD - Take high school / college jobs off resume?
A friend worked as a janitor during college and ended up at a stuffy V10. Anecdotal evidence is anecdotal, but if you have nothing else on there like most of us K-JDs I can't think of a reason not to leave it on. Partners and associates are people too and a lot of them will have worked McJobs.
If it makes them remember there was something interesting about you it can only help. They see a ton of people a day and are looking for those that stand out.

Hopefully partners have a keen interest in HDMI cables so my BIGRETAIL experience can pay off.
