Rounded toes are more standard, but if you already own the square-toes, don't go spend money on new shoes just because of that. It won't matter much.

I've never liked square toed shoes, make you look like a leprechan. Get a cap toe that can hold a good polish (but don't then slack off and let them looked all scuffed).
