this is relating to a non-legal position but thought tls would be a good place to get some answers
my husband applied for a position with a large multinational corporation---they all loved him and the director spoke to him in terms of "when you join us.." and "you will see for yourself.."
he sent thank you letters and the HR person responded with feedback and said everyone was impressed with his experience and they are interviewing some other ppl and will get back to him as soon as possible. this email was sent towards the end of the week before last week [12 days ago]. this past thursday my husband called for a status update and left a voicemail. he has not heard anything back and is wondering if he can call again today since its the close of the business day or if that would seem pushy
