Summer Pay
Question about pay schedule for summer:
If you work a week in May, do they pay you for that in the May pay period?
And is it true that some firms only pay 1x per month, at the end of the month? Trying to do some budgeting in advance, here... anyone with experience, I'd be much obliged.

My firm pays weekly. Wouldn't be surprised if above poster was correct that the norm was biweekly, but since it can vary you should ask.

Re: Summer Pay
Depends on the firm. And, if they pay bi-weekly and you start in the middle of the 2 week period, you might not get your first paycheck until 3 weeks in, but it all depends on the firm.
