Haven't done a 2L SA gig yet, but the 1L SA job I had didn't seem to differ from the experience of the 2L's in the same program. We did the same type work, interacted with the lawyers in the same way, went to the same socials...
You could just read the SA advice thread, there's good stuff in there.
