I'm a current law clerk who is going to a NYC V20 firm this fall. Just wondering if anyone out there knows how the clerkship bonus is paid out to incoming associates. Do they pay it all out in a lump sum at the beginning of employment? Or do they pay half at the beginning, and half after one year? Or does it vary depending on the firm?
Thanks.
