Bar application CF question
Most bar applications ask if you've ever resigned, been asked to resign in lieu of termination. I worked for housing at my college one summer and I drank before a meeting. They didn't fire me but were going to demote me. I just resigned instead since I was planning on doing that before the incident happened. The only thing that went into my file was my resignation letter. It seems like I don't have to disclose this because I wasn't asked to resign and the question doesn't ask about resigning instead of being demoted, so it's like I just quit a job. But, I still feel weird leaving it off. Any thoughts?

Leave it off. They didn't tell you to quit or you would be fired.
