1L Poll -Where Are You Working This Summer? - UPDATED
1Ls, where are you working this summer?
***I updated the poll and took out the option for viewing the poll even if you are not a 1L. PLEASE DON'T VOTE IF YOU ARE NOT A 1L. You can view the results by using the little blue link below the poll.***

Would have been a really good poll if not for your last option.RobotGardener wrote:So don't pay attention to the percentages because the last option kind of invalidates them.
Also, bump.
You should update the original with true percentages after some more votes.

Re: 1L Poll - Where Are You Working This Summer?
I agree but I rather have real data then a bunch of people voting just so they could see the results. I will post the percentages if we get over 50 votes.r6_philly wrote:Would have been a really good poll if not for your last option.RobotGardener wrote:So don't pay attention to the percentages because the last option kind of invalidates them.

People can see the results without voting. There is a link to do so on the poll.RobotGardener wrote:

Legislature, which I don't think fits into any of your choices.

Yah, but that button is not noticeable. I think that people are more likely to look at an option in the poll than that button. The results of this poll at least partially prove my theory.r6_philly wrote:People can see the results without voting. There is a link to do so on the poll.RobotGardener wrote:

I think talking about the option to view the poll on the first page pretty much nullifies this your concern people won't see it. You should take it off.RobotGardener wrote:Yah, but that button is not noticeable. I think that people are more likely to look at an option in the poll than that button. Wow a ton of 1L Big Law jobs.
So TLS is heavily skewed towards students with top grades.

Re: 1L Poll - Where Are You Working This Summer?
PD and AG internships are common 1L summer positions. I added "other government job" for you (and the guy who said legislative intern).rad lulz wrote:rad lulz wrote:You inexplicably list AG and PD, but not the myriad other types of govt. work. Just make poll options for "federal government" and "state government" or something.

You may want to consider school-based clinics as an addition to the list..
