Splitting 1L SA?
Is this something that "simply isn't done"? I've heard from other 1Ls that it is but not sure if that's true
To clarify, I know you can split government and biglaw, but can you split two biglaw firms in one SA?

Re: Splitting 1L SA?
I actually met someone who did this with two firms in their home market from a T6. He made it seem like it was a great idea.Anonymous User wrote:Is this something that "simply isn't done"? I've heard from other 1Ls that it is but not sure if that's true/

Depends on the firm. Mine has a strict no splitting policy for 1Ls, but I imagine it's OK with others.

Go on nalp and look up the firms in the area. See if most allow split summers and what's typically the minimum number of weeks allowed.
