Re: SCEP
You used to be very likely to get hired, but the Obama administration has discouraged it due to complaints from government unions and veterans groups who saw it as a backdoor way to evade veterans' preferences and CBAs. But, now with it being phased out, (http://www.federaltimes.com/article/201 ... 80301/1001) and with budget cuts in general, I am hearing that some agencies are having trouble converting their remaining SCEPs to full-time. You still do get to list it as a hiring preference on federal apps though, but I don't think it is worth as much as PMF/Sch. A/ICTAPSTeoeo wrote:Does anyone know much about SCEP? For example, if you get an internship in SCEP, how likely are you to be hired? Thanks.
