references; where to put?

Post by TheFutureLawyer » Thu Jan 26, 2012 9:16 am

1L. I'm just looking to list 2-3 references. Should these go at the bottom of resume, cover letter, or get their own page? It's just a "call if needed" reference.

I have them printed on a separate page and bring them to the interview and give them if they ask.

Any idea if judges are more likely to want references up front in the application? In a packet for applying to jud internships at my school it said we "should" include them.

have them ready on a separate piece of paper, but no need to include in the initial application materials. if you have a CB, bring them with but again you only need to hand them over if you are asked.
