one of my LS alumni is working for King & Wood right now. She did this international LLM program for her third year through my school at the University of Singapore - supposedly she networked there and got a job at King & Wood.
She was law review (graduated cum laude) from my school.
FYI, she is white and my school is T2.
HTH (if it does at all).

She's working there as a foreign legal consultant (i think). I'm not sure about King & Wood specifically, but for firms in other asian countries, if you want to work as an FLC, you just need to pass the bar in the States.dood wrote:did she have to pass any bar in asia?
I'm not sure what they pay. I don't personally know the person so I can't say more.

google - seems like the firm pays new york associates USD 40 per hour.
not biglaw salary.
the pay is likely lower elsewhere - a lot of firms do not pay uniform salaries in all offices.
why would you want to work there?

A friend received a Beijing offer there coming from a T14 LLM program. They offered her US$1000 a month. She passed.
