The quote on American is fantastic.
TV judge Judy Sheindlin started at American before getting her law degree at New York Law School in 1965. Judge Judy made $45 million last year.

Re: the best law schools for getting rich
this thread makes me feel good about the fact that i got waitlisted at HLS & am now slumming it at CCN instead.
i'm sure the % of HLS/YLS grads in academia, govt., etc will of course drive those schools' salaries down...obama technically only makes $400k in govt. salary (not counting book royalties, etc.) as opposed to some biglaw partners who went to cls/nyu & make over a million, but that doesn't mean HLS isn't one of the very top schools for those who want to eventually get rich. i hate these kinds of lists because they are so skewed.

I'd like to point out the fine school ranked #2: http://www.forbes.com/2011/03/07/rich-l ... ide_3.html

Could someone please save me from the excessive advertising and clicking and just make a damn list?

Two impressions:
(1) Notre Dame has finally ranked highly in something other than lay prestige. Awesome.
(2) Fordham's building is freaking fugly.

Re: the best law schools for getting rich
does anyone think this paints an unfair image of the current legal market?
couldn't these high salaries be held almost exclusively by attorneys who graduated law school when the economy was in much better conditions ?
i just can't imagine all of these schools (namely the non T14 schools) being so successful at placement during this economy
