When a biglaw firm hires 2Ls for spring fellowships...
Does anyone have experience of that turning into a summer associate position?

What's a spring fellowship? And who do you work for?
I dunno nothin (obviously), but if you are working directly with Partners, I can imagine you have a chance to look good.

I don't have it yet, but there's a good chance I might get it (i.e. if I survive the CB). It's a big law firm and the pay is pretty good, and I'll work about 20 hours a week if I get it.
It's a V100 in D.C.. Pretty sure they've already filled up their summer SA class. Still, I would hate to taste big law over the Spring then have to do something else over the summer...lol
EDIT: A spring fellowship is basically exactly like a summer associate program, except you work part-time in the spring. That's what I got out of it based on my communications so far.

^ ok. I'm kind of really just asking if this is something that'll be useful for my career in terms of getting into big law, based on people's past experiences.
