That pretentious gift accompanied the callback offer last year, if I'm not mistaken.G. T. L. Rev. wrote:S&C used to give out Bonsai trees. Not sure if they do that anymore, though...

WLRK gave waterbottles and padfolios, and post-summer fleeces.

Re: SA gifts
Whoever responded re: the bonsai trees and callback offers was indeed mistaken. People with callbacks got boxes of expensive cookies. The bonsai trees (which were still sent out during last year's hiring cycle) went out to those who received and accepted offers.

My friend's firm gave out Ipads to all associates, but I'm not sure if that included summer associates

T-shirts, water bottles, leucite paperweights, and other associated/random swag.
Personally, I think the incredible dinners, baseball games, events, etc., were gifts enough. It was one of the best summers evarrrrr.

Re: SA gifts
I know many firms give out gifts over the winter break.
I also heard Kirkland or Jenner Chicago had an end of the year party where people were able to win iPads, iPods, etc.
