Re: interviewer add on linkedin
Seriously? Nobody here has any inside information for you.
Some speculation: Maybe you just came up on their feed as someone to add. Maybe you have an offer and they are adding you. Maybe they were just scoping you out further, realized you'd see they looked at you, and decided to add you to make it not weird.

If they ding you after this you retain the right to call them a TTT forever.

Re: interviewer add on linkedin
IMO it'd be pretty weird for them to add you and then ding you, so I'd see it as an optimistic sign. No guarantee of anything, of course, but certainly better than total silence from them.
Then again, he/she may have just liked you enough to want to keep in touch, though this would be kinda odd.

Re: interviewer add on linkedin
no one probably responded to the interviewer's constant email spamming to "join linkedin and connect" with her and thought you were an easy connection

I seriously think you misunderstand how LinkedIn works. If oyu met someone, its legit to add them. Doesn't mean an offer.NinerFan wrote:IMO it'd be pretty weird for them to add you and then ding you, so I'd see it as an optimistic sign. Re: interviewer add on linkedin
Several attorneys contacted me about legal discussions during the hiring process and continued to contact me after their firm rejected me. Don't look too much into it but good luck.

Re: interviewer add on linkedin
That's a fair analysis. My reasoning was that these attorneys probably meet/interview a ton of people. Heck, a person who screened me at OCI clearly had no idea who I was when I popped in to say hello during my CB. Unless OP really stood out, is clearly going places, or they have positive news for OP, it's kinda weird to add them on linked-in. At least, it hasn't happened to anyone I know.c3pO4 wrote:I seriously think you misunderstand how LinkedIn works. If oyu met someone, its legit to add them. Re: interviewer add on linkedin
I think that says a lot more than the LI add. Probably means they want to share the sample with someone else, i.e. they are selling you. You have a supporter in your corner.Anonymous User wrote:ninerfan: thanks for the vote of confidence! the interviewer requested a second writing sample from me, too. confused, but keeping my fingers crossed.NinerFan wrote:That's a fair analysis. It means the firm is now contractually obligated to extend an offer to you. Congrats!
