Has Anyone externed in the SEC Corporate Finance?
If so, what kind of work did you do? How does this relate to what biglaw associates do?

Re: Has Anyone Externed at the SEC Dept Corporate Finance?
I have a friend there now and interviewed with them last year. They review the corporate filings submitted for things like the periodic reporting and securities transactions. I haven't done biglaw, but it seems like it would be similar to the due diligence they do on the corporate side or the doc review they do in litigation. But it also seems like they do less as far as legal research or memos of law and much less in the development or dealmaking done in firms.Anonymous User wrote:Has Anyone externed in the SEC Corporate Finance?
