I've done a search on here and it seems most of the posts get flagged as advertisements. Therefore, I will not mention the website I'm referring to...
Rather, generally speaking, what kind of success rate have you guys received from emailing services (do not name which ones you use...) or physical mailing services to send out your resume and cover letter.
I sent mine out reallllly late and so I didn't target as many big firms since it would have been a waste. But I did send out over 300 applications to small-mid-size firms in the NE (NYC, Boston, Philly).
Please, when replying, remember not to mention what service you used...I don't want the post getting flagged.

Re: Resume Distribution Services
Hiring partner at a V10 that I was talking to casually said that federal clerks who use those services to try and get a job at his firm after the clerkship are idiots because they end up in the trash before he even sees them. Besides that, your school gives you Simplicity and the LD for free and NALP Directory is free. Spend the couple hours churns out a mail merge from those.

Re: Resume Distribution Services
I've had relatively good response...but mostly rejections as the V10 hiring partner mentioned...I have managed to get one interview at a mid-size firm. We'll see if anything comes from that...
In the future, I probably won't use the service...
