I can haz lateral to Kirkland??
Does K&E take lit laterals these days? Would such a thing be possible? If so, when/how?

Re: I can haz lateral to Kirkland??
If people respond to tell you that you can't, then what?
How about getting through 2L, having your SA, applying for clerkship and possibly doing 3L OCI is the first step.
Then, if still unsure then, maybe get an offer and get into practice for a couple years and see?
Are you going to quit if you can't lateral? I don't get it.

Re: I can haz lateral to Kirkland??
I had call-back interview with a third-year lateral at K&E DC.
So, yes it's possible.

From what I know, Kirkland is hiring laterals like crazy. Don't know how things will be when you're actually up for consideration in 5 years.
