No offers yet and the options are dwindling. I got a call from a firm I've interviewed with (that is probably my top choice), telling me they were still making decisions. They wanted to make sure I was still interested.
I told them I was definitely still interested, but should I have done more? Would it be worth following up with them via email or something saying that, if given an offer, I would immediately accept? Or is that just overkill?

Re: Help With a Question
While it might have been good to tell them that on the phone, my gut feeling is that it would be awkward/desperate to contact them solely for that purpose. Then again, career services offices sometimes make calls of that nature on the student's behalf, so maybe it isn't that bad.Anonymous User wrote:No offers yet and the options are dwindling. I had a similar thing. I called my OCI interviewer and emailed the hiring partner. AKA did the overkill. Got the offer later in the week.

Re: Help With a Question
I'm thinking about doing this but I'm also concerned about looking desperate/like an idiot. Did you meet with the hiring partner or did you contact them out of the blue? How long after your CB did you do this? Anyone else have success/failure by doing this?Anonymous User wrote:I had a similar thing. I called my OCI interviewer and emailed the hiring partner.
