I had a CB recently... and after... well, I can see why they are having issues (though everyone I met was super-nice).Anonymous User wrote:there's another thread with more complete information. yes, offers have gone out. at my CCN, i know of two offers extended anywhere from one day after CB to one week after CB. word is that GP is having trouble filling its NYC class.

Mostly a personality fit. Plus, I didn't meet with any juniors/anyone who summered with the firm, so it was hard to get a good "read" on the place since everyone was a lateral and it was kind of an odd mix of people. It was also a little on the formal side, which I expected and is probably part of the "Boston" connection. But overall, I don't think I could see myself there and would be very surprised if I get an offer at all.Anonymous User wrote:yeah, no one i know has accepted their offer yet . . . but i'm also interested to hear the recent CB's thoughts
Also, it's hard to compare because I had an interview with a firm that was basically a perfect "fit" the day before (and I got an offer from that firm less than 24 hours after I left the interview).

It's Friday night. Chill. And like I said, I'm probably getting a DING anyway.Anonymous User wrote:withdraw now.Anonymous User wrote:Mostly a personality fit. for people who had CBs, is it typical for them to add the hiring partner at the end of the interview if he wasnt originally on your list

Probably not, but they were shuffling people around at my CB, so it's possible someone originally on your list was just busy.Anonymous User wrote:for people who had CBs, is it typical for them to add the hiring partner at the end of the interview if he wasnt originally on your list

I had already met with 5 people. And then they added the HP. I still don't expect anything since I've gone 0/5 so far, but I was thinking it has to be a good sign.Anonymous User wrote:Probably not, but they were shuffling people around at my CB, so it's possible someone originally on your list was just busy.Anonymous User wrote:for people who had CBs, is it typical for them to add the hiring partner at the end of the interview if he wasnt originally on your list
Any idea on turnaround time? I actually heard HP is out of office this week wonder if that affects anything.

Dunno. Had my CB late last week and haven't heard. If the HP is out of the office that would make some sense... though I didn't think the interview went particularly well and I'm not expecting an offer.Anonymous User wrote:I had already met with 5 people.
