If you have practical or anecdotal experience, please respond.
Say I have a choice of starting my career with either a Dallas/Houston market-paying firm (>200 attorneys) OR a market paying firm in a smaller Texas city, e.g. Austin/SA/EP (<80 attorneys). Would choosing the smaller Texas market have any effect on lateraling into other market firms in Texas if I were pushed out around year 4? How would practice group come into play?

Same, but what about exit options of working with one of the best firms in a smaller city in Eastern, TX?
