Post Clerkship Interview Questions
I just had a interview for a clerkship. After meeting with the judge he told me that he's almost done selecting his law clerk and that he would let me know soon. He also said that if I get another offer to contact him. However, I only met with him...I didn't meet with his law clerk. Is this a bad sign?

Means nothing. Some judges have their clerks participate in the interview process, others don't.

I would take the following from this:Anonymous User wrote:I just had a interview for a clerkship. 1) You didn't get an offer on the spot.
2) He didn't turn you down on the spot.
3) If you get another offer, contact him.
4) He'll let you know at some point in the future whether you got it.
5) His particular interview style did not involve meeting his law clerk, at least for your interview.
