Cleary SA Abroad
Does anyone know how Cleary handles sending so big a portion of the summer class abroad? Does everyone go at once? I am planning on going to an European office and wondering about timing. On one hand, the end of the summer seems like a logical time, but even big firm offices in Europe are very slow in August. Going in the middle of the summer might get tricky with splitting a sublet. Can anyone speak to this?

At least with Hong Kong, it's at the end of the summer. I'm pretty sure it's the same for other offices too.

OP here. I don't go to GW and certainly don't author a blog. Just going to Cleary and wondering about how the timing works out.Anonymous User wrote:He's posting anon but this is clearly (pun intended) the guy on http://www.gwlawblog.org. lol

Re: Cleary SA Abroad
Everyone is in NY for the first 3-4 weeks. The first rotation goes abroad for the four weeks then returns for 4 weeks. The second rotation goes for the last 4 weeks and ends there and you can fly back whenever. If you want to travel after it makes sense to go the second one. They insist you do not sublet your apt and keep housing in NY(since they give you housing abroad) so that shouldn't factor into it. Note you don't get to chose either where you go or which rotation you get. You say what you prefer but you won't necessarily get your first choice for either. Basically everyone that wants to go abroad does get to go somewhere though.
