Any Columbus or Cleveland movement?
Anyone willing to share which bigger firms have issued rejections or offers after CBs in Columbus/Cleveland?
Anyone want to share how long they have been waiting?
I am hanging in silence...and going insane.

Quick turnaround for offers from Baker Hostetler and Benesch because they were on a rolling basis. Ulmer & Berne said they will decide after they've interviewed everyone which should be around now.

The real question is...who is soon to reject (or has recently rejected) offers in C-bus & Cleveland. Help us keep hope alive!Anonymous User wrote:Were the offers from the Cleveland offices, Columbus offices?Anonymous User wrote:Quick turnaround for offers from Baker Hostetler and Benesch because they were on a rolling basis. Re: Any Columbus or Cleveland movement?
Been waiting for near three weeks after a CB from Ulmer. If it's true that all the Cleveland firms have made offers, I think they've got a lot of people on unofficial waitlists while they see whether their first round of offers have accepted.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone willing to share which bigger firms have issued rejections or offers after CBs in Columbus/Cleveland?

I only know for sure that Baker has hired. Aside from that, all my Cleveland friends seem very stressed out that their call-backs have failed them, so, I'm guessing they have decided.

Unrelated: But if you do get a Baker Hostetler nod, be sure to let us know if you get to do any work for Sarah Palin:

Re: Any Columbus or Cleveland movement?
Just judging by the NALP firms and what I've observed, I would say the overall number has remained relatively the same. Some firms may have hired one less, some hired one more. One notable exception: SSD hired came on campus (and hired) at Ohio State for the first time since '08dstr15 wrote:Does anyone have a sense about how many SAs there were available in Cleveland or Columbus and how that number has changed from last year. thanks.

Re: Any Columbus or Cleveland movement?
My friend and his whole class got no offered in 09 by Calfee in Cleveland. He told me the offer rates there since then have been a little under 50%.
Be careful.

Have most of the Columbus firms done call backs already? Haven't heard from a handful post screener. I'm guessing that at this point all of those can be considered dings?

CBs at Baker Hostetler Columbus and Squire Sanders. Had the CBs the week of September 19. I was told that Baker Hostetler would be making decisions next week. Haven't heard anything from Squire Sanders.
