I emailed QB last week to ask (phone screener on Aug 1), and they said they were just finishing OCI last week. Hoping they're not done with cbs...Anonymous User wrote:Is the Consensus that callbacks are done?

Sorry for confusion. I meant the actual call itself not the interview

Re: Milwaukee Firms
I talked to a 3L who summered at G&K and is going back after this year: he said that the firm does 3 interview weeks (Thursday and Friday interviews). I don't know what week this is for them--2nd? 3rd? But, I would imagine that everyone is scheduled at least a week in advance. Without knowing the OCI calendar of the firm (I haven't bothered to look it up), I would guess they are very close to being finished with calls, if they are not already done making the calls.Anonymous User wrote:Sorry for confusion. Does anyone know how fast G&K or Foley make decisions after the callback?

Re: Milwaukee Firms
I have heard Foley makes decisions on the Friday after your CB. Though I doubt this is a hard and fast rule. As for G&K, I believe it depends where in their CB structure you land. As noted above, they do a wave of Thurs/Fri CBs. If you're earlier, you'll likely have to wait longer.Anonymous User wrote:Does anyone know how fast G&K or Foley make decisions after the callback?

Re: Milwaukee Firms
had g&k cb this past week. during callback the recruiting coordinator (who is a very nice lady) mentioned to all of the interviewees that it was week #1 of cb's for g&k. perhaps more phone calls for cb's are forthcoming--thought some folks might like to know this.

I've heard G&K does a strange thing where they make you sit in a room with the other candidates (aka your competition). What did you think of that and the other people?

Did they happen to say how long until you hear back? My cb is scheduled to go from 1-dinner. Was yours the same?

Re: Milwaukee Firms
Once you arrive you will be taken to a conference room with all of the other candidates interviewing that day. I didn't really think anything of it. I didn't get the impression that anyone was trying to psyche out each other, and I certainly didn't try. Everyone was pretty friendly. NBD. I actually liked the fact that the first interaction at the firm was with other students because I could get my jitters out in that room as opposed to the first interviewer's office.
The schedule is from 1:30 through dinner. You will have five 30 min interviews, then a cocktail hour at a partner's house, then dinner with two attorneys. We finished dinner a little after 9.
