Cleary v. Wilkie Farr (NY)
Hello,
My decision has come down to these two firms. I'm struggling because I liked people at both of them and I'm wondering if anyone has experience at either firm or know people at either firm that could help with my decision. I'm thinking I'm interested in litigation.
Need to decide soon!
Thanks.

I've heard from numerous people that, if you are lucky enough to have an offer from Cleary, you go to work for Cleary.

Yes. In pretty much every practice area (except for funds), Cleary is a noticeable step above Willkie.Anonymous User wrote:can people explain why cleary? is the clear choice mostly just bc it's compared to Wilkie?
The cultures are a bit different (Cleary is more quirky/nice/nerdy, Willkie is more outgoing/fratty), but the difference in caliber/exit options is probably large enough that culture shouldn't sway your decision unless you absolutely hated Cleary.
