Miami Associates: Where to live?

Any ideas?

Not a big fan of downtown Miami. Thinking South Beach or Miami Beach?

If by "downtown Miami," you aren't excluding Brickell, then Brickell. Pros: nice apartments, rent is relatively inexpensive, lots of things, you can take the MetroMover downtown to the firm offices for free and avoid all traffic. Cons: You'll have to deal with bar noise, depending on where you are.

If you ARE excluding Brickell, then the western side of Miami Beach has some pretty nice places, and its far enough away from Lincoln Rd/Ocean Drive/etc. that you can avoid the club crowds/noise. But you'll have to drive downtown or (ugh) take the bus.
