Jones Day vs. V&E in Dallas
I want to do corporate work. I felt like I clicked with people a little bit better at JD. I don't want to be in Dallas long-term. I've heard (on this board) that JD corporate is a sweatshop. This is something I would like to avoid. Any thoughts?

I've heard JD Dallas is very "up or out" FYI. Which for you might actually not be a problem since you don't want Dallas long term. Out of curiosity why don't you want Dallas long term, and where do you want to go?

OP here. I'm from Dallas originally but my family has moved. I just don't see myself staying Texas forever. I'm not sure where I would go, but my sense is that JD would give me a little better exit options because it's more of a national firm...

Well, Id still push the less desireable one after committing to the other. I know some people who do Jones Day Houston second. Maybe Dallas is different.
