NorCal People - If you could choose any Bay Area firm...
....and were leaning toward corporate work, which would you choose and why?

There is not just one elite corporate work firm in the Bay Area.
Really, you need to ask yourself what type of work you want to do. Each of the top echelon firms do different types of work.
For example, if you are interested in VC/emerging venture-related work you might want to look at Gunderson, Wilson Sonsini, or Goodwin Procter.
If you are interested in M&A and capital market work you may want a shop that has a stronger NYC reputation/ Vault ranking.

WSGR is the gold standard, but I hear they work people harder than most. Cooley does a lot of trans. Who cares what firm, you'll be living in the Bay!!!!
