open container in backround check
i got an open container violation a couple years ago and i was wondering if this would be enough for a firm to rescind an offer after i've accepted it? (assuming they discover it in background check) (was over 21 years old at the time and it's just a minor violation)

I highly doubt that they would care. It's not a DUI. As long as you didn't lie about it, I don't think it should be a problem.

Doesn't matter. I have worse (alcohol related too) and I was told that as long as it wouldn't be a character and fitness problem, then it wouldn't be a hiring problem.
